In the spirit of Fortissimus—Latin for “strongest”—this annual award honors one male and one female athlete whose presence in the Strongman and Strength community embodies more than just physical dominance.
The Fortissimus Athlete Distinction Award recognizes individuals who elevate the sport through their unwavering integrity, sportsmanship, and positive influence on peers and the broader community. Nominees are put forward by their fellow athletes, and final selections are made by the Fortissimus Committee.
Recipients of this award demonstrate:
